The Pile Is the Easy Part

A brush pile can outgrow the plan for it in one afternoon. Branches snag together, palm fronds take up more room than expected, and the green bin is full before the yard looks any clearer. Hefty Rhino loads yard debris from the pile and hauls it away across Jacksonville, FL.

Brush Pile and Tree Debris Removal

We take cut branches and limbs, palm fronds, shrub trimmings, leaves, dead plants, vines, mulch, and pine straw. You do not have to move the pile to the curb. Large limbs and trunk material need to be cut into manageable sections, typically four feet or shorter, before pickup. Whole trees, whole trunk sections, and stumps are not accepted as a standard yard-debris load. Active tree cutting and tree removal are outside our scope; once a tree company has sectioned the material, we can handle the hauling.

Storm and Hurricane Debris

After a storm, we remove the same cut tree and landscape debris we take on a normal yard job, including downed limbs, broken palms, brush, fencing material, and bagged leaves. Same-day or next-day storm-debris removal is available by request and depends on the route and current workload. We do not cut standing or fallen trees, work around live utility hazards, or load whole stumps and uncut trunk sections. Separate fuel cans, chemicals, and other hazardous material before the crew arrives. See how volume-based pricing works, or check the FAQ before booking an unusual load.

Remodel and Construction Debris Is a Separate Load

A remodel pile is not green yard waste. Tell us what the pile contains before scheduling so the crew can determine what can be loaded and how its weight affects the job. Clean, nonhazardous project debris can be quoted separately. Pressure-treated lumber, other treated wood, and painted or stained material are not accepted as yard debris and must be identified in advance for a separate disposal decision. Chemicals, solvents, wet paint, and fuel cannot go in the truck.

Heavy Material Needs an Advance Check

Soil and rock are priced and planned by weight, not just by the space they appear to occupy. They are not accepted as a standard brush-pile pickup and must be described in advance so the crew can confirm whether the quantity can be hauled. Landscape timbers and fencing also need to be identified before arrival, especially when the wood is treated, painted, or stained.

Yard Projects Beyond the Brush Pile

Shed removal, swing set removal, and trampoline removal can be handled on the same trip, along with old BBQ grills, with structures broken down on site when the job is confirmed in advance. We regularly run yard debris from Mandarin and Switzerland, Fruit Cove yards, the older lots off Old Saint Augustine Road, Fleming Island lots, Orange Park, Ortega, and Avondale.

How It Works

01
Call or book online

Tell us whether the pile is brush, cut tree debris, storm cleanup, remodel waste, or a mix. Same-day service is available by request, subject to the route and current workload.

02
We show up and quote

Our crew checks the material and the debris volume, then gives you a firm price based on truck space and any weight limits before loading begins.

03
We load from the pile

We carry and load accepted debris from where it sits. When a very large volume needs more than one load, we tell you before the work starts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What yard debris do you remove in Jacksonville?

We remove cut tree branches and limbs, palm fronds, shrub and hedge trimmings, old mulch, dead plants, overgrown vines, bags of leaves, and other clean plant material. Landscape timbers and fencing need to be identified in advance, especially when they are treated, painted, or stained. We handle both routine brush piles and post-storm cleanup.

Can you pick up a brush pile near me?

Yes. We load accepted brush, branches, palm fronds, hedge trimmings, and leaves directly from the pile, so you do not have to move it to the curb first. Tell us whether the pile also contains soil, rock, lumber, chemicals, fuel, or other non-plant material when you book.

Do you remove hurricane and storm debris in Jacksonville?

Yes. We haul cut limbs, broken palms, brush, bagged leaves, fencing material, and other accepted landscape debris after storms. Same-day or next-day service is available by request and depends on the route and current workload. We do not cut trees, handle live utility hazards, or load whole stumps and uncut trunk sections.

Do branches need to be cut before you arrive?

Large limbs and trunk material should be cut into manageable lengths, typically four feet or shorter, before pickup. Brush, palm fronds, and standard trimmings do not need the same preparation. Whole-tree cutting is outside our scope, but we can haul accepted material after a tree company has sectioned it.

Can you take remodel or construction debris with yard waste?

Remodel and construction debris must be described separately before scheduling. Clean, nonhazardous project debris can be reviewed for a separate quote, but pressure-treated lumber, other treated wood, and painted or stained material are not accepted as green yard debris. Chemicals, solvents, wet paint, and fuel cannot go in the truck.

Can you haul tree stumps, soil, or rock?

Whole stumps and uncut trunk sections are not accepted as a standard yard-debris load. Soil and rock are controlled by weight rather than volume and require an advance review of the quantity before the crew can confirm pickup. Do not add them to a brush pile without mentioning them when you schedule.

How is yard debris removal priced in Jacksonville?

Pricing is volume-based for accepted debris, with heavy material also affected by weight. The crew inspects the pile and gives you a firm upfront price before loading. A few branches take less truck space than a full landscaping tear-out, and a very large job may require more than one load; the crew explains that before work begins.

Why choose Hefty Rhino for yard debris removal in Jacksonville?

Hefty Rhino loads accepted material from the pile, provides a firm upfront price, and offers same-day availability by request. The crew distinguishes clean plant debris from heavy, treated, or hazardous material before loading so the scope is clear from the start.
