Junk removal in Jacksonville starts at $100 and goes up to $645 for a full truckload. You get a free on-site estimate and approve the price before we load a thing.
These are sample reference points. Your actual price depends on the volume, weight, and access of your specific items, confirmed on-site before any work begins.
Prices shown are starting points and sample load-size estimates. Hot tub removal starts at $575 and requires the tub to be drained and disconnected from its power source before pickup. Your final price is confirmed by a free on-site or photo estimate and depends on volume, weight, access, and materials involved. These figures are not a binding quote.
A small number of items require special handling or disposal and carry an additional per-piece fee on top of your load price. These are always disclosed upfront. You'll see the full total before you approve anything.
| Item | Additional Fee |
|---|---|
| Fridge / Freezer | +$20 |
| Washer or Dryer | +$20 |
| Stove | +$20 |
| Tire | +$5 |
All other items are included in your load price with no extra charge. When in doubt, call and ask.
All 9 load sizes, from a single item to a full truckload. You only pay for what you use.

Jason and the crew price every job in person. No phone guesses, and no number that moves once we are standing in your driveway.
We look at everything going and match it to one of nine load steps, from a $100 minimum up to $645 for the full truck. Any per-item disposal fee gets named here too.
One total, in writing, before a single item moves. If it does not work for you we pack up and go, and the visit costs you nothing.
The carrying is ours — upstairs, out of the garage, across the yard. We sweep the cleared space before we pull out, and you pay the number you already approved.
Hefty Rhino Junk Removal is locally owned and works out of Jacksonville — not a franchise territory dispatched from somewhere else. Jason is the person you reach when you call, and the crew covers Duval and St. Johns County itself rather than handing the job to whoever is nearby.
The ladder starts at $100 for a minimum load and tops out at $645 for a full truckload, with nine steps in between. Which step you land on is set by how much room your items take in the truck, measured on-site by the crew, not guessed over the phone. You see the tier and the number before anything is picked up.
By volume. We size your pile against a nine-step ladder rather than charging by the hour or by the item, so the price moves one step at a time instead of jumping. Stairs, carry distance, crew size, and the number of trips to the truck do not change what you pay.
Yes — $100. That covers a single item or a few bags plus the labor, loading, and dump fees behind it. One chair from a second-floor Mandarin condo gets the same crew and the same carry as a full garage; the minimum is what makes sending a truck across Duval County work at all.
Labor, loading, driving, and the dump fee are all inside the load price. The exceptions are the few items the county charges us a separate disposal fee for, listed in the next answer. Nothing is added after the job — the number you approve is the number on the invoice.
Yes, and they are the only extras on the whole page: Fridge / Freezer ($20), Washer or Dryer ($20), Stove ($20), Tire ($5). These are disposal charges the facility bills us per piece and we pass through at cost rather than folding into everyone's price. You see them in the on-site total before you approve it. Hot tubs are quoted separately, starting at $575, and have to be drained and disconnected from power before we arrive.
Only if you add to the pile. We quote firm before touching anything; if you point at more on the way out, we stop, re-size the load, and show you the new step before it goes on the truck. Nothing moves up without you saying so, and you pay when the job is finished, not before.
Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. We come out, look at what needs to go, and give you a firm number. If it does not work for you, we leave and you owe nothing for the visit.
Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Apple Pay. No deposit to book and nothing held on a card to reserve your window — we take payment on-site once the truck is loaded and you have looked the space over.
We run Monday through Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturday 9am to noon across Jacksonville, Mandarin, Baymeadows, Bartram Park, Nocatee, Fleming Island, Orange Park, and the beaches. Same-day is often open — call 904-200-9793 and we will tell you what is actually available today.
Yes — veterans, first responders, and seniors get a discount. Mention it when you book or when the crew is writing up the quote and it comes off before you approve the price.
The same volume pricing applies everywhere we run, so a half-truck load costs the same in Jacksonville as it does anywhere else on the route. There is no travel surcharge inside our service area.
What does change is availability. Pick your area below to see the jobs we handle most often there and how quickly we can usually get out.
